Curated Social Hour
The connections that come out of Summit are the best part. But we know that meeting people at conferences can be hard! Skip the awkward small talk and join one of our three concurrent social hour activities to meet your fellow attendees through games, structured conversations, and other activities.
Cards for humanity: Tarot as a catalyst for change
This activity will use a deck of tarot-inspired self-reflection cards to explore a series of wayfinding questions. Attendees will navigate the unknowns of our roles as civic designers, researchers, and technologists, and interrogate our power, position, and expertise to show up more authentically in our work.

Get in here: A space for hot takes, conversation, and candy
It’s exactly what it sounds like—a space for spicy conversations and sour gummy worms. We know that the civic tech workforce is burnt out and craving time to commiserate. Technologists for the Public Good will be facilitating small group chats guaranteed to grow your community and expand your perspective.

All of the above: A civic tech trivia game
Get ready for the most niche trivia game of your life. Civic tech trivia will give attendees the chance to prove their knowledge of our field’s history! Think you have what it takes to beat your fellow nerds and emerge victorious? Come by yourself or with a team and show us what you’ve got.
